On The Ground Floor

The central sitting and dining area, with its log burning stove, becomes a cosy haven for cooler days and evenings, while its huge, glass barn doors can be flung open to the south facing terrace on a warm day.

Next door is the beautiful, handmade kitchen – equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare and serve a delicious meal – including a Rangemaster cooker, spacious fridge freezer with icemaker and a large island unit.  This area makes an ideal socialising space.

Also on the ground floor is a well-equipped boot room with washing machine, tumble drier and a ground floor cloakroom.  There is plenty of space for removing and storing muddy boots and waterproof gear after a good walk and also a sink big enough to wash a small dog if needed.

The Garden Bedroom – one of the barn’s three charming double ensuite bedrooms is on the ground floor making it very accessible.  This dual aspect room has twin beds – which can be zip locked together to make a super king (6ft) bed – and custom-made oak furniture. This bedroom has its own arched door out onto the patio. The ensuite shower room is beautifully appointed.

On the first floor

The Longbarn has two equally comfortable and spacious double bedrooms upstairs, each with high quality beds, copious storage and ensuite bath or shower room.

The Orchard Suite – which looks South over the newly planted orchard and fields beyond, has a King-size bed, a private snug area for reading, writing or relaxing and its bathroom has a large cast iron bath and separate walk in shower.

The Tudor Bedroom – with its iron and brass King-size bed – occupies the old loft area and benefits from views to three aspects. The ensuite shower room has immaculate facilities.

Outside

The Longbarn is accessed via its own private drive with parking space for several cars close to the building.

The secluded garden which faces south west and enjoys sunshine for most of the day, looks out over farmland and fields towards the Hiraethog mountains.

Guests also have the option to dine in the south facing oak Loggia which adjoins the barn on the south side.  This is a large covered ‘room’ with one side open to the garden, allowing enjoyment of the views and the often spectacular sunsets.
